• Do you have Packages?
Yes, we have packages ranging from the simple to the ultimate! Our packages are designed to save you time…and money by providing key items such as food & beverages, your flowers, your cake and music. Packages start at $6990. Or, if you prefer, you can choose A La Carte and make all decisions by yourself!
• Help! I don’t know where to start! Will we have help with planning our Wedding/and or Reception?
Absolutely! Riverwood Mansion provides the most extensive planning and coordination service of any location in Nashville and we provide a trained wedding consultant to give you expert advice. From the day you book the mansion, we begin working on your event. We start with a minimum of 3 planning sessions and offer advice and help throughout the planning process. We will provide you with a custom plan for your day and the people to execute it! If you have your wedding here, we also provide you with a professional wedding director to help plan and conduct your wedding.
• What about on our wedding day, will my family have to do most of the work?
Your family should be able to enjoy your wedding…not worry about the details. On the day of your wedding, we have a minimum of 3-4 staff members dedicated to making your guests feel comfortable and providing you with a stress free…and work-free day! We even help you load your gifts and any left over cake!
• What if it rains?
No worries! We have a wonderful, beautifully decorated, 4200 square foot pavilion that will hold up to 300 people for a wedding ceremony. If it rains we can have the ceremony there!
• Can we bring our own caterer?
We have fabulous in-house caterers that can custom design meals just for you. In addition we have a list of additional approved caterers and will allow other outside caterers subject to certain fees, terms and conditions.
• Are we allowed to use the inside of the mansion?
Yes, unlike many mansions, we are delighted for you to use the entire 5000 square foot downstairs of the beautiful, historical mansion. Your guests are allowed to enjoy the exquisite interior of the mansion. Most brides use both the inside and outside of the mansion. In addition, we have an elegant bridal suite for the exclusive use and privacy of our brides.
• Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, you may bring your own alcohol to serve to guests over 21 years of age for your reception. A licensed bartender provided by the caterer must be available at all times to serve drinks to your guests. Guests may not bring their own alcohol or serve themselves.
• Can we have dancing?
Yes, a large professional dance floor is provided in our outside pavilion.
• Are tables, chairs, and linens included in the price of the booking rental?
We offer a variety of packages, all of which include table, chairs and linens. If you choose A La Carte, tables, chairs and linens are not included. However, unlike most unique facilities, Riverwood Mansion offers a complete rental supply option on site. You never have to worry about whether your chairs will arrive on time…or if any tablecloths are missing…or who will put them on for you! Our pricing is very competitive and you will save time, money, and delivery charges. We will provide a list of our rental items to prospective brides when you come for a tour. (This list is not provided over the web or sent in the mail since we are constantly adding new things!) If you use our rentals, we will put everything out and make sure all your equipment is clean and ready to use when you arrive!
