Bret & Janelle. Oh my. Where do I even begin? We first met Janelle our first year of shooting weddings at Matt & Beth's wedding. At that point, she was assisting other photographers and, like us, just beginning her journey into the wedding industry. Throughout the next two years, we shot multiple weddings together, been nominated for awards together and even shot each other's cousins' weddings. There are very few wedding vendors that we develop lasting friendships with that transcend work life…Janelle is the exception. At first, I was a little sad to hear that Janelle was moving to Nashville, but the more I heard about Bret from her family and friends, the more excited I became for the new start they would begin together! When I finally met him, I knew exactly what everyone was talking about. At first, Bret seemed to be just a calm and collected guy, but after spending time with him at the rehearsal dinner, I immediately saw how complimentary he was to Janelle…and really, able to meet and match her energy! As our future weddings become more and more Janelle-less, we have one BIG one in 2015 to look forward to…a destination wedding in Italy – and Bret's coming too! :) Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your life and your wedding day in Nashville. I'm honored to play this small part in your journey together and look forward to seeing what your future brings!
